Cami continues to grow! She has a lot more awake time. After her feeding around 9ish she’s pretty much awake until 4ish or so. We’ve been playing on the play mat or going on walks to stay entertained. I got a carrier so I can wear her when we go for walks (picture below). It works out really well and is nice because now when I go with Bryan we can walk TOGETHER instead of me following with the stroller.

We’ve been getting out of the house more. Bryan and I went out to lunch a few times, took her to Costco, Target a few times and out to dinner at Smokey Bones. She’s been really good. We try and go right after she’s eaten so she’ll last longer.

We left Cami on Friday night with her first babysitter so Bryan and I could enjoy a date night out. Grandma Joanne came over around 6 and we headed out for SUSHI! I hadn’t had real sushi in almost 10 months – it was delicious! After dinner we stopped for frozen yogurt and were home around 8. Cami was a perfect angel and didn’t even cry to be fed.

I’ve been continuing to go to Mother & Baby Tea. I really enjoy getting out and being around other mommy’s. It’s also fun because I can weight Cami and see how much she’s eating. Little miss piggy is consistently taking in over 3 ounces which explains why she’s pushing 10 pounds!

Her sleep is improving. We put her down for the night after her 10ish pm feeding. Sometimes she is a bit fussy but eventually falls asleep. She’ll then do her long stretch of sleep for 3-4 hours. After that she eats and goes back to sleep pretty easily for another 3 hours until 5 or 6am. I try to nap in the afternoons when possible but that is usually only on the weekends.

Cami’s umbilical cord still hasn’t fallen off so I have an appointment tomorrow morning for it.
