We survived our second week and my first week alone with Caleb. He seems to be adjusting well and has slept better the past two nights. At first we could only get him to sleep in the bouncer but now he's sleeping in his Rock N Play sleeper. Still not quite the crib but we'll get there!
I ran errands a few times this week and he's great when out - he usually sleeps the whole time. This Saturday Bryan and I ventured out on a date night. Bryan received an award from work so he was honored at a nice event at the Gaylord hotel. My mom and Bryan's mom watched Cameron and Caleb for the night.
Caleb has been eating about every 2 hours during the day. He'll usually take one good nap and go a bit longer. At night he's been averaging about 2.5-3 hours between feedings. Last night he gave me a good 4 hour stretch...let's hope that trend continues!
Caleb had his two week checkup today and gained more than a pound in the last week and a half. The Dr, was impressed and said he is looking great. I can't believe he's so big already! He weighs a pound more than Cami did at 2 weeks.
Caleb's umbilical stump fell off on Monday so we took our first real bath! All that hair gets pretty greasy pretty fast!
