Pretty good.
Best moment this week: Long Weekend = A trip to the beach and the springs.
Food cravings: Nothing particular.

Nothing particular.
Symptoms: Occasional headaches.

18 Weeks

Baby is now the size of a sweet potato!

18 Weeks
How big is baby: The size of a sweet potato or bell pepper.
Weight gain: Up 1.2 pounds for a total gain of 10 pounds even.
Stretch marks: None
Maternity clothes:
Pretty much 100% with the exception of a few shirts.
Sleep:
Pretty good.
Best moment this week: Had a prenatal massage yesterday...it felt good!
Food cravings: Nothing particular.
Food aversions:
I could still do without meat...
Symptoms: Headaches.
Exercise: Not so much.
Gender: 2 More Weeks

17 Weeks

Baby is now the size of an onion!

"Baby's skeleton is hardening, changing from rubbery cartilage to bone, and fat is finally accumulating around it. The umbilical cord is getting thicker and stronger, and those little fingers and toes are now topped by one-of-a-kind prints."

How big is baby: The size of an onion.
Weight gain: Down 0.2 pounds for a total gain of 8.8 pounds.
Stretch marks: None
Maternity clothes:
Most definitely - I'm finding that I actually prefer fitted maternity shirts over my regular shirts because in some of my normal shirts I just feel frumpy.
Sleep:
Pretty good...still sleeping on my back but trying hard to avoid my stomach.
Best moment this week: Hearing my baby's heartbeat at my 16 week appointment.
Food cravings: Maybe eggs? I enjoyed some egg salad sandwiches for lunch as well as a Panera breakfast sandwich.
Food aversions:
I could do without meat lately...
Symptoms: Headaches, backache
Exercise: Dog walks.
Gender: 3 More Weeks

What I'm looking forward to: Just enjoying everyday.

Heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time - it was 140-150 bpm.

16 Weeks

Baby is now the size of an avocado!

"Watch what you say... tiny bones forming in baby's ears mean the little one can now pick up your voice. Eyebrows, lashes and hair are starting to fill in, and taste buds are forming. And, if you're interested, an ultrasound might be able to determine gender."

16 Weeks
How big is baby: The size of an avocado.
Weight gain: It was a big week - Up 2.6 pounds for a total of 9.0 pounds.
Stretch marks: No
Maternity clothes:
Oh yes - I wore my first maternity shirt last week although it's not really necessary yet.
Sleep:
Pretty good...still able to sleep on my back and stomach.
Best moment this week: My first mother's day! Bryan surprised me with some flowers and I enjoyed a nice lunch out with my mom.
Food cravings: Hmmm...nothing particular this week...
Food aversions:
None.
Symptoms: Minor Headaches
Exercise: Biked 12.7 miles on the Cady Way Trail this weekend.
Gender: 4 More Weeks

What I'm looking forward to: 16 week appointment on Wednesday.

15 Weeks

Baby is now the size of an orange!

"Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements."

How big is baby: The size of an orange or apple.
Weight gain: Up 0.6 last week so up 6.4 pounds total.
Stretch marks: No
Maternity clothes:
I'm in all maternity bottoms - no need for maternity tops yet.
Sleep:
Good with just the nightly bathroom trip!
Best moment this week: Not related to the baby - but enjoyed a tea party to watch the Royal Wedding with the girls.
Food cravings: Red Meat
Food aversions:
Nothing particular.
Symptoms: Minor Headaches, Short Nausea Spells - I got sick for the first time this pregnancy on Thursday! Hopefully that's the one and only time!
Exercise: Softball - I can't retire! I played ONE inning to avoid forfeit. Also went on a neighborhood walk and biked 11.4 miles on the Cady Way Trail this weekend.
Gender: 5 More Weeks
